Since I only got 2 or 3 hours of sleep last night (this morning?) and since I slept in my clothes after almost 9 hours of traveling (including pushing the scooter the last half-mile last night) I wanted to have an early day at a place with a shower.
The Pinegrove Campground fit the bill, and I was positively looking forward to checking in.
It turned out to be almost ideal thanks to the owner’s hospitality, and my perfect site (the Group site), as you can tell from this post’s featured image.
After my shower and nap (see yesterday’s post), I woke up and ate too many tortilla chips and drank too much (2L) Dr. Pepper . Now I didn’t feel good, AGAIN.
So I heated up some clam chowder that I had bought at a small store just before checking into Sky Blue Waters RV Park yesterday.
I felt better, cleaned up, took a big drink of water and went to bed.
It was raining softly, but everything was nicely tucked in and dry.
I slept until 9 AM the next morning and only woke up once during the night.
Anti-gravity is definitely the only way to go if you’ve got a back with a gravity problem.
God is Good, all the time!
Last night was the First night that I slept over 6 hours in 2-1/2 YEARS!
I haven’t slept this long in one stretch since December 28, 2019 (ask me how I know).
Thank you Martina and Dave at Pinegrove!
I think I’ll stay (hang) here another night since tomorrow it’s supposed to rain, AGAIN…
