It’s with heavy hearts and sadness that we would like to inform Rich’s followers that he has passed away. He was forever an adventurer and will continue his adventuring with God. Please feel free to continue to post comments on this blog. As his children, we will do our best to respond to any questions or concerns you may have.
Be WONDERful.
What an amazing person and what a remarkable life, sending my deepest condolences to his family.
This news saddens me deeply.
I enjoyed my short time I spent with Rich. The kids still talk about him and how he was adamant that we stop for ice cream.
So kind and so genuine. He loved Jesus with his whole heart! I wondered at times if he was maybe an angel.
Rich really challenged my prayer life. Iām extremely grateful for the conversations we had. I was encouraged by Rich and Iām confident he is finally home with the lord. Mission complete brother.
My condolences to the family that I heard lots about. God bless you
I am so sorry to read this about Richard..met him in Hixon BC Canada where he stayed for a couple days. What an amazing man and loved his stories. So sorry
Omgoodness.. my first thought is.. what happened?! I hope it wasn’t an accident.. some of the roads were quite treacherous…
We met him by bear glacier in BC where he was camping for a few days to recharge. We shared stories and a cup of tea… I’m sorry he didn’t make it to Antarctica… My heart is with him š
I am so sorry to hear about his passing. We met in Stewart, BC, on July 21, 2022. He even let me ride his scooter. He was so generous and contagiously happy.
My family and I were so sorry to just read about Rich’s passing. We met him last summer when my daughter who worked at Roberts Roost campground in Quesnel BC told me about Rich and his journey so I took some dinner to him and we had a visit. He stayed there a few days beacause of rain and we had him to our house for breakfast before he continued on his journey north, when he was still planning to get to AlaskaHe let me try his scooter , which was a blast. It is hard to believe how many miles he travelled on it. It was a joy to read about his journey and the trials and tribulations along the way. I am glad we met and shared some words and will never forget him. I hope you can shed some light on what happened to him.
Rest in peace, wonderful man! Thanks for our times together in Zhengzhou. You were one of a kind.
