    1. Thanks again, Brad. You and Jeremy were an a God-send! I made it to Meziadin Lake Provincial Campground with volts to spare. I even saw my first Grizzly Bear along the roadside. He looked at me like he had just seen his First Sasquatch!

  8. Rich, I enjoyed our short visit today on old highway 97 at the TA Ranch Sign post. You have a great challange for your equipment and yourself. I will try to keep up with you as you proceed south.
Good luck to you on your quest!

    1. Thanks, Russell. I hope that you and your wife enjoy your travels as well. After we met I continued onowner’s. Kaycee RV Park without needing to recharge and I spent a rather eventful night there thanks to the hospitality of the owners.

    1. Hi Ed, we are! (Angela, Emily and Dan). I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Sorry it took so long to reply – we’re all still adjusting to life without Dad.

We’ve decided to take over the site to keep it up “forever”. We’ve also decided to keep his scooter and all of his adventure things in memory of his last great adventure.

Dad talked all of his life about “one day making it to Alaska” – he finally made it!

  9. Thanks for posting Angela and family. Rich spoke often of achievements he wanted to own, such as overland records which he has achieved at least two during his trip north. Did he or any other persons working in his behalf document these records? Had Guinness been involved. And finally, what was this illness that eventually ended it all??

  10. Amazing! Found your adventure looking up battery info on the Kaabo King GT. Going through your site now! We have 3 of the WKGTs so this is very interesting.
