It was VERY foggy, smokey and cold in Drummond Montana this morning.
An early breakfast at Parker’s Family Restaurant was very much appreciated.

I decided to head towards Butte, MT instead of Helena today because the RV Park in Helena did not accept tents, and when I called the city about trees in their campground, they said there were no trees, just a large open area.
Sad and pathetic!
But, once again, a silver lining came up in Deerlodge at the Car and Prison Museum.

Both museums were GREAT! And I was even allowed to charge my scooter INSIDE while I looked around for almost 4 hours!

Plus,I entered a drawing for a vintage car (and to support the museum).

The drawing is to be held on December 2, 2022 about the time I should be getting to Mexico, if all continues to go well.
I informed my son-in-law, Josh, that if I won the drawing, the car would be his.
The car museum offered some great show pieces, from long ago and from recent years.

I even found a Ford Falcon which was the First car ever owned by my eldest brother back in the 1960s.
As I gazed at it, I remembered how our cat, Blackey, to my brother’s chagrin, would walk around the flat edges and leave footprints from front to back.

After a hot breakfast at Parkers. I launched out into the fog and decided to just ride down the interstate instead of trying to deal with more poor GPS directions.
Interstate-90 in this area has a 10-foot wide shoulder and relatively light traffic.
Only some single-lane construction projects on the bridges proved narrow and challenging but all went well.
Hopefully the Butte KOA will have a nice place for the hammock…
