It was cool, damp and cloudy when I finished my Carnation Instant Breakfast and granola this morning.

About halfway to the RV Park, I had to stop and charge up enough to make it the final 40 miles.

The Internet Cafe
in Amanda Park, WA

Fortunately, the Internet Cafe in Amanda Park not only had food and power, but they also had decent WIFI.

Now I’m even caught up on my Posts!

What a difference a day makes!

Compare this photo of Hoquiam Park with the early morning shot up above of my campsite at Kalaloch campground.

Hoquiam River RV Park

The Hoquiam RV Park may be the absolute very BEST Park that I’ve been to yet!

Friendly hosts. Reasonable rates, great place for tents (grass and well-spaced birch trees, right on the river, free wood and (spacious) hot showers, LOTS of benches to relax on in addition to picnic tables, great WIFI in every location, large Clubhouse, nice laundry room, and close to all the stores and amenities offered in town. Perfect!

Oh! I forgot to mention that there are standard Type-A power plugs EVERYWHERE, even right out to the tent sites! Perfect, PERFECT!

Charging Right Next To Camp!

This place should be on every cyclist’s and e-Overlander’s list.

Even though I was planning to just pass through, I think that I’m going to stay one more night just to show my appreciation to the park owners and to check out the town.

I’ve also got to make a better plan regarding the route that I’ll be taking to Idaho…

Ready for a shower.
