Nice day, but still noticeably cold.

I had to push the scooter a few hundred yards AGAIN because I ran out of energy going up the last big hill before dropping down into White Sulfur Springs.

The heavy clouds parted for about 20 minutes during the hour I was solar charging alongside the road.

As soon as I started packing everything up to get back on the road, it began to snow!

I slowly crept the 5 remaining miles into town using only a single motor.

At the city market, I charged for 20 minutes at 10 amps and bought some fruit and a salad for dinner, and some bread and peanut butter and jelly for breakfast.

Tonight I’m at the White Sulfur Springs Spa Hot Springs Motel.

It’s raining/snowing.

I just had a very long, hot shower.

The hot springs pool opens at 7 AM tomorrow morning.

Perhaps I will soak a bit before heading off towards Townsend and Helena, Montana tomorrow. After all, it’s my very First time here! I should try it.

For now, I’m simply too exhausted to walk across the street, and my legs are still swollen and throbbing from hours upon hours of standing on the scooter yesterday and today…

160 miles in two days.

Roughly 10 hours of standing on a 10″ wide by 23″ long metal rectangle with very little change in position.

Am I nuts, or merely passing through a phase in these “Crazy Mountains?”
