Today was a relaxing shower and laundry day in Stewart, and I also got to the hardware store for another tube of silicone just in case I get the chance to upgrade the scooter charging fuses (again) and the opportunity to re-solder the rear charging port (again).
I ordered the parts from Amazon and they’ve already arrived in Colorado, but I’m not sure if I can wait until September to put them on.
I’ll just have to wait and see if limiting the new charger to 6 amps causes any significant issues with the increased charging time. If not, the new parts can wait until I’m back in Colorado.
Today I also repacked everything and prepared to head back to Meziadin Lake tomorrow morning.
I might be able to catch a ride to Kitwanga and avoid the issues that came up the last time I attempted to cover the 95 miles between Meziadin Lake and there, but I’m not sure I’ll have any options so I’m trying to be ready.
The weather is also predicted to change on Friday with more clouds coming in followed by more rain (again).
I’ll find out tomorrow when I get to the campground what’s in store.
In the meantime I’ve made some new friends in Stewart.

This is 8-year-old Ison a fellow camper and seasoned scootourist in his own right. (Note his white and purple rig in front of my Sasquatch. )
Perhaps you’ll see him on a similar adventure to mine sometime in the near future…
