Some days it’s beneficial to just stop and smell the flowers.
I had one of those days today.
But I also invested over four hours in trying to find a route out of town over the next few days.
Labor Day weekend is coming up so I’m trying to plan to be somewhere the people aren’t when that weekend arrives.
I’m hoping to be in Idaho by the end of next week. If I make it, I may be able to look up an old friend from two decades ago.
Perhaps he’ll be at home or perhaps he’ll be traveling like many others.
I’ll find out.
For the next several days I’m just going to do my best to deal with the traffic and whatever comes my way.
For today, it was great to have a good cup of coffee, another nice shower, and to have the opportunity to enjoy the flowers…
